Compression Spring

Uma Springs manufactures best quality, and cylindrical shaped compression spring. Compression spring is basically an open coiled spring in a helical shape. These springs purpose is to oppose compression. When we push this spring it generates a push back force thus completing the task and are used in various applications.

Compression springs are normally positioned on a rod or in a hole. When a pressure is applied to the spring it compresses and becomes shorter gaining a tendency to push back and return to its original position. Thus creating a push back force it completes its task by regaining its original position.

Compression springs are a part of many applications that we use on a daily basis. These were first introduced in door locks to make sure that only one specific key could be used on that lock. As time passed these springs were used in clock which was powered by these compression springs. Still there was a lot to discover as it was not quite sure where else can these springs be used. But a scientist named Robert Hooke, developed a law known as the Hooke’s Law defining the nature of a compression spring and it changed the whole concept and they were started to be used in many other applications such as,
